why does dan always draw like they're possessed?

dan is a 24 year old zinemaker, vegetarian, cafe haunter, and cartoonist who likes to use materials they don’t know how to use. they don’t know anything about astrology, but every time a girl asks them what their sign is and they say sagittarius, she goes “oh...” they use they/them pronouns. they’ve never taken an art class and got their start in the comics world tracing Neopian Times comics in elementary school so people would think they were funny.
