thats the opposite of a bad thing to say thank you very much?????
hewwo
most of my zines Do have a digital format. If I’m remembering correctly, the only ones that never got a public digital release were Soup, Donut Hole, and Murdered in Amsterdam.
Donut Hole hasnt gotten a digital version because its purpose was to be a single-page experiment and to serve as a prop for an induction activity when it folds out. suppose I could rework it to describe how to make your own mat, but if I was to do that I think I’d rather just re-hash it into a tumblr post instead, as it is teensey tiny and would be suited for it. Youre not the first to ask about this though so hey it is on my to-do list !
Murdered in Amsterdam was an experiment in physical page layout, so, like, while i did release it as a gift to patrons that month in a pdf, it, again, would need substantial edits to make it as fun to read on a screen as it is in person. Additionally, it was a demo chapter for a grant i was applying to, so it probably wont get a proper gumroad release unless i give up on the project its from. I’m mentioning it here because I will however be reprinting some for a festival i have coming up, and any extras will be released online >B)
And, as for Soup, fuckin uhhhhhhh okay
i made it during a chunk of time where my short term memory was less than ideal for Reasons, and i recall being like ah! cant do a digital of this! very vividly but i cannot for the fucking life of me remember why. ive been wondering this since i launched ggf because like??? theyre sides of the same coin? and i didnt hesitate there. was i worried about spoilers? did i want to look mysterious??? maybe it was intended to be early access for patrons???? it gnaws at me. anyway have given myself til the end of the month to remember, and if i dont ill assume it was something dumb and release it into the wild, hold me to that (but hold me gently its been a weird year)
also! also! hey! thank you so much for your interest in my stuff! the downside to being an indie motherfucker who likes to touch things is that there are no tags to read and no askbox to pop in easily, so i do not know if ppl who download my work actually enjoyed them. you rule, and i hope this answer was satisfying!
